Soundstone present their eagerly anticipated debut EP, Scratchin' At My Door. It has been highly welcomed not only throughout the ranks of their devout following, but the established rock scene as a whole with Neil Calderwoods production at Manor Park Studios. This offering has a unique style and sound which makes it hard to categorise however, these guys are clearly driven by dirty crunching riffs, married with descant guitar harmonies sprinkled throughout as title track 'Still I Wake' clearly demonstrates, with a powerful and searing vocal telling the tale of hardships and bitter loss. One thing is for sure, Soundstone have all the qualities & attributes to go far, and with such infectious foot tapping sounds it quite frankly leaves you wanting...more.
