Write your haiku in here

The Haiku are giving away a goodie bag which includes a copy of their album "Fan The Flames", an "Asshole Rules The World" T-Shirt and anything else they find in the depths of their merchendise box!

But how do you get your hands on this wonderful prize? Well, all you need to do is write a haiku poem and send it to them, along with your name, address and email.

I suppose we should probably explain what a haiku is, for those of you that are unsure. It is a vey short poem, consisting of 3 lines. The first and third lines must have 5 syllables each and the middle line must have 7 syllables. This is the basics. There are other rules as well, but we're not worried about them, because it could get very complicated if we do!

"You can watch us play
Acoustic guitar and drums
We are The Haiku"

So to confirm. All you need to do is either leave a message here or send one to The Haiku right here on myonit with your haiku poem, your name, address and email. If you don't want to be added to their mailinglist, please say so in your message (this will NOT affect your chances of winning in any way! We believe in free choice!)

The competition will close on Sunday 6th July, and The Haiku will judge the competition themselves. You have free reign over the subject matter and you can make your haiku as funny/senisible/silly/serious as you like. The winner will be the one that makes Phil and Bert go "WOW!" the most! You may enter as many times as you like.
