Gotta have music in my world. It's a sensual passion that speaks about life. I enjoy a wide variety of artists -- alternative, acoustic, jazz, classical, ambient, pop, country, rock, folk, reggae, soul, R&B, Americana, indie and more. Especially love to listen to my friends' music -- check out Buffy Lawson and David Goodman (still bugging him to get songs up!). My current favorite is David Gray -- what a lyricist! -- although I've been listening to a whole slew of others here. It's fun stumbling upon new artists on MySpace. Maybe next week you'll be my current fav artist. I listen to every artist that befriends me -- I really do! By the way, where the heck is the Steve Clausen Band's online? Clue me in if you know!
I believe in the Law of Attraction. What we think, we become. My concentration on music has brought an exciting opportunity my way. I've been offered an A&R executive position with an up and coming music company (to be announced later), so I'm checking out unsigned songs. We're looking for instrumentals for commercials, television and films, as well as vocals.
In addition to my passion for music, I love creating organic skincare (edensong.com). I'm also involved with a nonprofit organization, developing character education and manners programs for schools to help children find the "star" within. (theetiquetteschooloftn.org)
I've traveled a fair amount and would love to continue to see the world's eye candy. Some of the places I've visited are England, Europe, New Zealand, all 50 states, except Alaska. I definitely have more on my Bucket List -- Tibet, China, Thailand, South Africa, Italy (missed that one while in Europe), Tahiti . . . and, oh, so many more. Besides traveling, I enjoy photography, gardening, cycling, yoga, ballet and the list goes on . . .
Yes, I'm a busy bee and I like it that way. Don't think I've ever been bored! There's just too much to do!!! I've always thought only boring people get bored. KWIM? I expect a lot from myself and am ever-evolving to "be the best I can be" -- and know that no one is perfect, especially me.
